What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

“I like to lead by example”

I lead from the front by taking action, demonstrating what needs to be done, and keeping my team organized to make sure we’re all on the same page. A leader should facilitate communication. I consider myself a transformational leader. I encourage my team to set goals that directly align with the company’s goals.

How does your curriculum ensure the best practice of industry?

“Students engage fully with a comprehensive curriculum delivered in advanced facilities”

I am grateful to the industries working in collaboration with us. Their regular support has helped in achieving our aim of becoming "the centre of excellence". I am in no doubt while assuring the new entrants that we are determined to give them the best in a perfectly organized way.

What would you like people to know about your Institute they may not know?

“We strive for exceptional education”

NIPR is carving out a niche of credibility for itself in the academic arena of the Alwar region. To heighten the pyramid of excellence, the institute is loaded with modish infrastructure, user-friendly facilities. The laboratories are equipped with up-to-date equipment, highly qualified and experienced faculty possessing best practices in teaching. We are an institution with a congenial campus believing in healthy community life.

“To look after the institution growth and development with a collaborative approach”

My commitment is to make NIPR a centre for an outstanding learning experience and fulfil the vision of the institute through experienced education and research. I also believe in a trilateral approach, i.e. to coordinate the management, faculty and students at a common platform.

What do you see as the Northern Institute of Pharmacy & Research greatest strengths?

“Every student receives individual attention and support”

The professional qualifications and effectiveness of teaching are paramount factors in consideration of our institution. For the students, the institution provides an environment which fosters academic success and personal growth by offering appropriate student support services. The institution provides library resources and services to support its educational programs for its students and staff. As a comprehensive institution, we seek to encourage quality research and research training, students perform high-impact, leading-edge research.

What do you think should be the Institute’s top priority over the next 10 years?

“Our overall objective is to provide quality service to current and future students, faculty and staff”

With the management’s encouraging perspectives and visionary strategies along with dynamism of the President, we envisage the institute to steadily grow into a leading pharmaceutical hub for advanced learning. As a pedagogical leader, our primary focus is on the students. We strive to shape them into responsible citizens through imparting quality education and multitasking initiatives. To receive national recognition as the most innovative, dedicated and distinguished leader in pharmacy care also adds to our priorities.

What are some in the education sector?

“To provide the students with the proper guidance and support”

Higher education is very important for growing our economy. However, higher education in India has many challenges and issues. There is inadequate focus on research in higher education institutes. There is also a huge gap in supply and demand which causes a disbalance. Student’s mental health should be a top priority for higher education providers.

How is your institute ensuring a clean and sanitized environment for students?

“We have a set of policies that discourage gathering and venturing outside in these times”

To abide by the safety guidelines, we have laid down a few mandatory rules to be followed by everyone on/off-campus:

  • The practice of regularly washing their hands and/or applying hand sanitizers at key moments.
  • Daily cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces and objects that are touched often.
  • Students participate in virtual learning, and in-person learning is limited to courses and laboratory instruction that cannot be delivered remotely.
