Dr. Rishi. V. Aacharya is a Dean of the P. A. Inamdar College of Visual Effects, Design and Art (VEDA) College. He has more than 11 years of experience in the education industry. He is a Director of PAI IT Olympiad and Co-Founder of CG Eduversity, Pune.

What is your experience in the education industry?

“Implement quality education for the masses and to learn about new technology in the education industry” 

My father is a Railway officer and I am from a service class family. One of the words of my father strikes me a lot. That is, become a job giver instead of a job seeker. I am very much inspired by Dr. P.A Inamdar, who is a caliber and visionary man. My motivation is his struggle in life and it led me to take Animation and Media education. We can see that the education sector is changing with vast technology and there is a great scope for Animation and Media in the upcoming years.

What challenges do you face as dean of P. A. Inamdar College?

“To process a degree course in academics and find out staff for teaching”

I have no support at the beginning of the Media and Animation Course. One of the first challenges is to propose a full degree course in front of the University academic council. I started to plan the Animation degree course with study materials, credit system and more. Another difficulty is to find staff for teaching and within two months a team of few members formed. We strive hard to get attention from pupils for the enrollment of the Animation program. I got support from my family and management to lead to the growth of students every year.

How do you establish a healthy relationship with students on campus?

“Provide an environment for students that contain human values, collaboration and critical thinking”

I want to focus on both the academic and personal life of students. The youth in present society consists of several talents and a lot of them lack inspiration. My duty is to provide the right path for their dream. I always create an environment for students that contains human values, problem-solving, collaboration and critical thinking.

What efforts do you put forward to establish P. A. Inamdar College?

“Accurate plans lead to new foundations in our campus” 

Our campus has become a preferred place for Media and Animation courses. We support students at all times and achieve ISO 9001-2015 Certification for the global standards of education. Moreover, the campus received Guinness Book for Word Records and Limca Book of Records. All these things happen through accurate planning by all members. It led us to attain Best animation degree college 2019 by ImagePlanet, Institute with best infrastructure in 2018, and Institute with best faculties in India 2019 by Global Triumph Foundation.

How do you create a student-centric environment in college?

“Allow students to choose and support the new talents at any time”

Students get freedom by interacting with all individuals on campus. We promote the choice of students instead of a traditional system. The class environment becomes friendly through open discussions held by faculty. Our campus supports pupils to begin their production with teamwork. They get assessments and mock interviews in their academic journey.

How do you integrate value-based education into the curriculum?

“Provide weekend sessions for students on campus”

Our belief is to offer the best education for youth and it influences their growth. We provide weekend sessions for each candidate. A student can understand their real gal through these Inner Engineering Classes. They deal with personal leadership, relationship and time management, Investment/Savings. 

What would be your ideal school environment?

“To attain true knowledge, and it liberates the talent of each pupil”

I always appreciate the fraternity in education that focuses on great values. A true knowledge widens the talent of candidates. It will result from hesitations and inner fears. Our students can achieve success by gaining vast knowledge and it creates miracles in the world. 

What are your goals towards the institution for the next few years?

“Decide to start proposals from several campuses to start Animation and Media Department and look for new entrepreneurs”

It is our time to expand the campus. We develop a map for next year that contains priority to Offline and online education. Our campus decided to start proposals from several campuses to start the Animation and Media Department. I am always looking for new entrepreneurs to make the campus in a new mode.

Any suggestions do you like to give for current youth?

“Manage the time and achieve the knowledge within a short time”

Students are creative and aware of several career options. I always work hard during my studies. Pupils can access the sources easily through the internet. It is necessary to manage the time and achieve the knowledge within a short time for students. Work hard and access your knowledge to achieve success.
