What are the prime factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“To help the girls and give them several opportunities to become independent”

I believe that India is a small Country. It requires industry in textiles. Girls are handling both professional and personal situations. The fashion profession gives multidimensional roles like govt jobs and entrepreneurs for girls. Fashion is growing in tier and metropolitan cities. Hence, a huge opportunity opens for younger girls. It aids them to become independent.

What is your philosophy of leadership?

“Create opportunities and support for others”

The primary duty of a leader is to create opportunities for others. It keeps the benchmark. Moreover, it is a road map for other individuals. Another part is supporting others to achieve their goal.

What are the prime factors for students looking to join NIFD?

“Be passionate about your career and shape the better future”

Building the passion of a career is vital for students instead of learning for marks. They must be passionate about goals. Creativity will not be enforced on someone. It is maintained by experience and shaping the ideas.

What are the research opportunities available for students in your department?

“Provide certificate and diploma courses for the practical learning of candidates”

An integral part of the fashion industry is research. It is very dynamic and keeps changing. We focus on primarily tier 2 cities girl child. Moreover, several certifications and diploma courses tie ups with various SMEs and boutiques for practical learning.

Where do you see the institution in the next 5 years?

“Develop the educational point of view and implement several branches”

The two branches are coming in NIFD. These are Warangal and Vizag. It will be attached to boutiques. Moreover, we develop the curriculum in an industrial standard. It helps to improve the educational point of view.

What are your roles and responsibilities to the students and NIFD?

“Produce an environment of practical learning to face real world challenges”

It is essential to implement an environment for students instead of learning for exams. Moreover, it is necessary to build practical learning. It aids the students to face real-world challenges. They should study for overall development despite getting a degree.

What are the challenges you view for higher education and College?

“Wrong assumption for the fashion industry and modeling”

People assume that the fashion Industry is for modeling or tailoring. This wrong perception exists in most places. Fashionists are the creators of representing the model. The modeling is connected to designing recently. Fashion is a creation of an individual.

“Follow the passion and boost your career”

The prime part is deciding the passion. By following the aim a student can achieve success. It helps to produce the brightest career. It is necessary to study for the best version of our decision instead of degrees.
