I always try to guide and deliver them the best of the skills and knowledge regarding all spectrums of life. With proper guidance and training, we aspire for a great and bright future for our students.

My roles and responsibilities at the institute include the following:

  • Conducting practical classes to develop skills.
  • Monitoring every student and helping them in those areas where He/She is lagging.

Do you have any extracurricular activities to enhance the skills of the students?

“To enhance the skills of students by organizing extracurricular activities”

To reach greater heights in your professional career, one must take a proactive approach. An individual must have an in-depth understanding of everything: local, national, international, social, economic, political issues, etc. These are few activities which we conduct on regular basis inside or outside the premises

  • Cooking Competition
  • Quiz Competition
  • Drawing Competition
  • Blood Donation Camps

How is your Institute more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?

“Providing students with various full and partial scholarships based on their merit”

The institute doesn't allow any kind of racial discrimination. The institute welcomes students from every corner of society, any kind of students willing to join the university. Here we have students from almost all the states of India, almost all the communities. Number two is that the university offers full scholarships and partial scholarships to almost 5% to 10% of our students. So we recognize the need of helping or extending our helping hand to the kind of students who are coming from an economically challenging environment, and we do it based upon merit.

How do you prepare your students for placement in your institute?

“Providing students with 100% placement assistance by the help of 3 Segments”

There are three Segments as far as placement is concerned for a Hotel Management Student

  • Industrial Training (IT) is a required component of every hotel management program. The length of training varies per industry, but it generally lasts between 22 and 6 months.
  • On-the-Job Training (O.J.T): For this training, the student must first finish their industrial training before being considered for O.J.T. O.J.T might last anywhere from 6 months to a year. Only star hotels with on-campus choices are available for O.J.T.
  • Job placements: We've been in business for 22 years and have long-standing ties with virtually all of India's top 5-star and independent hotels.

What should be the Institute’s top priority over the next 10 years?

“Providing the greatest workforce to the ever-expanding Hotel Industry”

Our first objective is to take FIHM to new heights of success. We're doing this by raising educational achievement levels in the region and making instruction more relevant to students' needs. We're increasing student success rates across the board while preserving academic rigor and high-quality learning outcomes. Our primary aim will always be to provide the greatest workforce to the ever-expanding hotel industry by embracing the present difficulties posed by a lack of quality education and the hotel sector.

How do you make the curriculum of FIHM industry-oriented?

“Providing students with both practical and theoretical knowledge”

The curriculum we follow ensures 70% of practical’s and 30% of theory part which is a standard ratio for any Hotel management curriculum and apart from that, we set up our practical labs in such a way that by looking at them, one can feel like they are in a star hotel working areas such as a kitchen, restaurant, guest room, and reception, and while performing in practicals, a student feels like they are in a star hotel working area such as a kitchen, restaurant, guest room, and reception.

What valuable advice would you like to give to the students?

“To have a great and lucrative career, stay focused and dedicated”

I've always believed that today's young can contribute to the nation's improvement. I recommend that they look for inspiration in the field they want to pursue and begin building their abilities and portfolio. They must learn to form and work in groups, as well as take criticism. Every area of life needs discipline. To attain their objectives, students must have a strong work ethic and a never-say-die mentality. Nothing can be taught in a day or two, therefore hard effort is required to acquire all technical know-how abilities in any subject.
