With a career span of over 34 years, Ms. Dr.Ch.Nagamani is presently working as the Principal at Sri Dasari Narayana Rao Govt degree college, Palakol. The aim of the founder was to empower young women of marginalized groups in the surrounding villages of palakol which the college strives hard to fulfill. Our vision has always been to empower women through a holistic approach to education. Promoting enrichment of knowledge by enabling them to leverage emerging technologies to enhance the learning experience is our mission. We ensure healthy peer relationships, an ideal classroom environment, bonding and personal attention to each and every student.
What are the different courses and facilities offered by your college?

The college offers various courses in Arts, Science and Computer fields, like BA, B.Com (General), B.Com (Computer Applications), B.Sc (PCM) and B.Sc (CBZ), etc. Apart from this, we have spacious classroom facilities and an indoor stadium, a well-equipped gym, computer labs, a health center, Virtual classrooms and a huge library. A well-structured ward counseling is in place to ensure periodical counseling sessions and to facilitate one-to-one informal conversations. The mentors help the students in solving their personal, educational, social as well as psychological problems.

Since the college is a non-autonomous one, we have to follow the curriculum prescribed by the affiliated university. However, as a step towards making our students employable, training is offered in analytical skills, communication skills and Computer skills through a well-established Knowledge Center. Also, we offer certificate courses like python, tally, and digital marketing by the Skill Development Center of the college to enhance the abilities of students in diverse fields.
What are various student welfare practices followed by your college?

The women empowerment cell of the college organizes various social as well as legal awareness programs inviting experts as resource persons to enable students grow as individuals and leaders and fosters a commitment to community service. Various clubs like Red ribbon, Leo club, Consumer club and associations of the college provide the students with well-balanced and stimulating campus life.
