Ms.Shubha Bhardwaj is the principal of Awasthi Group of Institutions, Nalagarh, Himachal Pradesh. She has completed her M. Sc. Nursing in Obstetrics and Gynaecology along with M.A in Sociology. Having an experience of 13 years in administration and teaching helps her to connect and interact with the youth. In addition to this, the book “BASIC TEXT & MCQs in OBSTETRICS & GYNAECOLOGY” has been published in 2009 (M/S Vishal Publishers P-6 Doctors Colony Medical College Campus Jabalpur M.P), written by her along with Prof Dr. Shashi Khare and Dr. Madhuri Chandra. She also has research papers published in PERIPEX and GJRA, which are National & International journals approved by MCI and INC.
What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?
One of the biggest assets for a student is education. It makes a wide change in the life of an individual. I have teaching experience of more than 10 years. Interacting with young my mind always connects me with the education sector.
What is your philosophy of leadership?
We focus less on daily concerns and more on developing frameworks. I am always a strategic leader who works hard to achieve campus goals. It is necessary to plan or analyze data, allocate resources, and develop partnerships. Strategic leaders consider partnerships and collaboration for accomplishing major goals.
How does your college welcome students of different economic backgrounds?
We welcome each candidate from all religions or castes. Our students are coming from various parts of India. We provide separate hostel facilities for Boys and Girls. Our campus gives scholarships to respective students based on their eligibility.

What would you like people to know about your college they may not know?
We prepare nurses to serve the institutions, and patients equally. They need to meet the basic health needs of a community. We are conscious of the changing needs of society. Our campus emphasizes imparting education and training to the students. We follow a prescribed syllabus to make students good human beings and professionals. Also, Campus provides a flexible curriculum to keep pace with changes occurring in the field of nursing and patient care.
What is the top priority of your college over the next 10 years?
One of our priorities is to get a chance at the top campuses in Himachal Pradesh in the upcoming years. We are working every day for this aim. Our campus tries to improve and make sure to achieve the dream. We worked on campus as per the feedback received from our students and faculty.

How do you establish a healthy relationship and environment in your college?
For the purpose of ensuring a good relationship with the students and fellow faculties and also to provide them with a healthy working-learning environment, I regularly communicate with them and respond to their queries with a positive attitude through an open and respectful communication channel. Apart from this, I never forget to acknowledge and appreciate their performance and give them appropriate rewards for the same.
