Dr. H. V. Deshmukh is the I/C Principal of K. K. Wagh College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology. He did his Ph.D. & M.Sc in Plant Pathology. He is having 22 years of experience in teaching, research, and extension. He has published 11 research papers in National & International Journals, 97 popular research articles, and delivered 19 radio-talks at All India Akashwani Kendra, Nashik on the topics related to agriculture. A recipient of the Shikshan Ratna award, he has won several prestigious awards in his domain.

What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“A direct sense of satisfaction and responsibility working towards the betterment of society”

The exchange of experience between teachers & students is a very interesting process, one gets to learn a lot from it. Also, executing research and extension activities for the upliftment of the farmer's community gives me a sense of gratification.

What is your philosophy of leadership?

“Tolerance and empathy must always be practiced by an exceptional leader”

Leadership skills are essential to nearly every career, being a team player and an active listener is the most important factor when it comes to big organizations. Especially in the Education Institute. According to me, other skills and qualities required are patience, positivity, reliability, and team building.

We provide several hands-on training programmers and courses for our students. We make the students ready for industries, especially in sectors of Research and development. Our faculty makes sure that our students achieve all the practical expertise and exposure that will help them grow in their respective fields.
