Views on the Education Industry

It is not an industry but a noble profession to help the new generation achieve their aspirations and by doing so, contributing to the nation building. The education sector has witnessed tremendous changes in the last two decades. Earlier the source of knowledge was limited to classroom teaching and libraries. However, with the technological advancement, today’s youth have various resources like multimedia, online resources, gadgets, and many more to understand the concepts in a better way.

Challenges are opportunities instead for Dr. Darwhekar

Every responsibility comes with some challenges and opportunities. The job of a Director is not restricted to administration only. One has to play the role of a mentor and a facilitator for implementation of good practices for overall growth of the stakeholders of the institution. I believe, challenges become opportunities if top management is passionate with clear goals for the institute and at the same time is cooperative which I am experiencing in Acropolis.

Methods opted to build positive relationship

At AIPER, our students are on the top of the priority list. I try to make sure that I am always available to them. Further, to establish better connect, to understand their problems and suggestions, I periodically visit the classrooms and interact with the students. I am connected with the students even via WhatsApp so that I am being informed of all their activities and they can easily share their views or problems with me.

Ultimate goals for AIPER: Make it the center of excellence

Education is an ongoing process of learning and implementation of new technologies and in this ongoing process, visualization is an important part. We aim to develop Acropolis Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research as the center of excellence in the field of pharmaceutical education and research in the country. With this, we want to offer brilliant infrastructure, provide every possible facilities, accreditation and industry associations.

Suggestions to the aspiring students

With the advancement of information technology and a culture of “ready mix” the expectations are very high with very low patience. Sowing the seed today does not provide the fruits on the next day. It has to complete its journey from seed-plant-tree-fruits. At every stage, it has to give required time to sufficiently grow to accept the challenges of the next step. Therefore, patience, perseverance and dedication are the key for sustained growth and long-term success.
