CMC Vellore PGDG Admission 2023 Open; Last Date to Apply is January 15

New Delhi: CMC Vellore has begun the application process for the Post Graduate Diploma in Geriatrics (PGDG) programme for the academic session 2023-24. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @https://www.cmch-vellore.edu/. 

CMC Vellore Distance Education offers a one-year of blended learning course, i.e, Post Graduate Diploma in Geriatrics (PGDG) for MBBS/ PG Doctors. Candidates seeking admission to the PGDG programme can submit their applications till January 15, 2023. 

Admissions to postgraduate diploma in Geriatrics will be made strictly as per the merit and availability of seats.

The PGDG course consists of 50 seats in total and is open to Indian citizens, NRI's/Foreign nationals and citizens of SAARC countries. 

CMC Vellore PGDG Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the PGDG course will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria. 

• Candidates must hold a valid MBBS degree / equivalent Medical Degree Certificate
• Candidates must hold a valid MCI/State Medical Council registration / Medical license

CMC Vellore PGDG Admission 2023: Selection Process

• The candidates for the distance education of CMC are selected based on the merit of the last qualifying examination. 
• There is no entrance examination for the admission in these courses. 
• Up to 40% of the seats in the course will be reserved for women
• Up to 50% of the seats will be reserved for sponsored candidates (See Annexure - I)
• Weightage in selection will be given to those in practice for over 10 years, those in Mission hospitals, rural practice and those working in areas of need (See Annexure-II) and those with a passion for setting up a Geriatric practice at their workplace.

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of CMC Vellore @https://www.cmch-vellore.edu/. 

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
