CUSAT CAT 2020 scores are calculated by using a formula (S = 3R – 1W) where, 

• S refers to the total score 
• R refers to the total number of right answers
• W refers to the total number of wrong answers 

For a better understanding of the candidates, there is an example given below, 

If R(right answers) = 185 and 

W(wrong answers) = 15, then the score can be calculated as, 

By using the formula (S= 3R-1W), i.e, 

S= 3(185)-1(15)

S= 555-15

S=540.

Thus, the total score secured by the candidate will be 540.
