New Delhi: Delhi University executive council will meet to discuss the admission 2022 solely based on CUCET score and a loan of Rs. 1000 crore from HEFA.
According to the Delhi University's rules, a candidate can only take the CUET in topics that they passed in Class 12. Candidates will have to appear in a subject that is similar or closely connected to the subject they studied in Class 12 if it is not specified in CUET.

As per the guidelines, “Merit will be calculated based on a combination of subjects in which a candidate has appeared in CUET as mentioned in the programme-specific eligibility.” Enrollment to minority colleges such as St Stephen's and Jesus and Mary will also be done through CUET, according to the approved rules. As per the reservation policy for these colleges, separate merit lists will be prepared during counseling for unreserved and minority candidates.
The Executive Council is the university's highest decision-making body, and policies are executed after they are accepted there.
The conference will also include a discussion of a loan request from the Higher Education Financing Agency (HEFA). The university intends to submit a proposal to the Higher Education Funding Agency (HEFA) for infrastructure expansion and capital asset creation worth Rs 1,075.40 crore. For the last three to five years, the institution has received a very low allocation for capital asset creation and has been unable to purchase lab equipment, according to the university. It also mentioned the situation of buildings that are falling apart.
