IIIT Sri City PhD Admission 2023 Open; Last Date to Apply is January 9

New Delhi:  Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Sri City (Chittor, Andhra Pradesh), has begun the application process for part-time PhD Admissions – Spring 2023. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @https://www.iiits.ac.in/. 

IIIT Sri City offers PhD programmes in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), and Mathematics and Data Science. Candidates seeking admission to the PhD programme can submit their applications till January 9, 2023 

Admission to the PhD programme will be done based on the written test performance followed by personal interview before the Ph.D. Admissions Interview panel.

IIIT Sri City has specified that the part-time PhD programme is only for working IT professionals employment based in India and scientists from Govt. of India Research Labs such as DRDO, ISRO etc.

IIIT Sri City PhD Admission 2022-23: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to PhD programmes will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria. 

 

• Candidates must hold a Master’s degree (M.E./M.Tech) with bachelor’s (B.E./B.Tech) degree in engineering/technology with a minimum of 60% (or above) aggregate marks 

or

• Candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech. degree in engineering/technology in any branch with a minimum of 60% (or above) aggregate marks. 

or

• Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics or equivalent discipline a minimum of 60% (or above) aggregate marks, currently working in Mathematics/Data Science or related areas with a minimum of 3 years of documented experience in Mathematics/Data Science or related areas are also eligible. 

IIIT Sri City PhD Admission 2022-23: Selection Process

• Candidates recommended by the Ph.D. Admissions Committee will be called to appear for a written test.
• The candidates shortlisted based on the written test performance need to appear for a personal interview before the Ph.D. Admissions Interview panel.

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of IIIT Sri City @http://www.IIIT Sri City.res.in/ 

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
