New Delhi: Kashmir University Admission 2022 is ongoing for its PhD programme for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal,kashmiruniversity.net. The last date to apply is May 25, 2022.

Kashmir University offers its PhD course in various specialisations that include Library & Information Science, Computer Science, English, Food Science & Technology, Geography, Nanotechnology, Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry and many others.

To get enrolled in the PhD programme of Kashmir University candidates need to have a master's degree in the relevant field with 55% aggregate marks from a recognised university or college. Candidates also need to appear in the entrance exam conducted by the university for the final selection.

• Candidates should have a masters degree with 55% in aggregate or it's equivalent from a recognised institution (a relaxation of 5% marks is there for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
• Candidates who completed M.Phil or have been selected for the M.Phil programme can also apply.

Kashmir University PhD Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Candidates need to qualify for the entrance test thereby securing 50% marks.
• The candidates who have qualified UGC NET/JRF/ CSIR UGC NET/ JRF ICAR-NET/SET/GATE WOS-A/INSPIRE or equivalent are exempted from the entrance test.
• The list of qualified candidates will be notified by the Dean of the concerned school and will be made available on the website of the university. 
• The entrance test qualified candidates shall be required to appear before the DRC for common interaction.

• Applicants shall visit the Kashmir University website at, kashmiruniversity.net.
• Click on the application form for research programmes 2022 under the admission tab on the homepage. 
• After filling in the required details submit the online applications.
• Applicants are also required to deposit a non-refundable application fee of INR 100 through online mode. 
• In-service candidates are required to mention in the form, the date of appointment, department and length of service.
