New Delhi: Madras University Admission 2022 has begun for Green Skill Development Programme (GSDP) certificate course on wildlife management using geospatial techniques. The program will be organized by ENVIS HUB, Department of Environment, Government of Tamil Nadu from January 31 - March 12, 2022.
The course is an initiative of the Department of Geography at Madras University which is one of the country's oldest departments, with a long history of teaching and research during the previous 89 years.
For the past 35 years, the Department has been conducting research in the field of geospatial technology. M.Sc. Applied Geography, M.Tech Geoinformatics, PG Diploma in Geospatial Data Analytics, and Ph.D. degrees are now available.

Madras University Admission 2022: GSDP Course Eligibility
- Student should be graduate in Science, 18–35 years of age
- Note: *The programme is free of charge and includes boarding, housing, and a certificate from the Ministry of Environment, Forests, and Climate Change of the Government of India.
- Applicants will be scrutinized, and only those who are eligible will be notified.
- Candidates must be available to start the programme in the last week of January 2022.
