New Delhi: The Pre-Med to MD programme is a 6.5-year study that is designed for high school graduates and non-traditional students who want to pursue careers in medicine abroad.
The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Karnataka, India branch of the American University of Antigua, College of Medicine, has announced the beginning of the first Spring cohort of their innovative pre-med to MD programme in 2023.
By January 30, 2023, interested applicants who have graduated from high school and achieved NEET eligibility can submit an application. According to PRNewswire, the curriculum is perfect for students who have completed high school and are considering a future as a doctor in Canada, the United States, etc.
The course is intended for non-traditional students and recent high school graduates who want to pursue careers in medicine abroad. The programme will last for 6.5 years. The first two years of the programme will be spent at MAHE Karnataka, and the remaining 2.5 years will be spent at Manipal's American University of Antigua, College of Medicine, where the students will study pre-clinical sciences on the cutting-edge campus there before completing their clinical rotations in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and India.
