MG University PhD Admission 2022 Open; Last Date to Apply is July 31

New Delhi: MG University has begun the application process for admission to the PhD course for the academic year 2022-2023. Candidates can apply online for the course through the official website mgu.ac.in 

For MGU Admission 2022 to PhD Courses, the university has declared that University Departments, Inter-University/Inter School Centres, Approved Research Centres in Government and Aided Colleges affiliated to MGU will the research centres. Institutions formed by an act of either the State or Central Government for the promotion of research shall also be the research centres for students pursuing PhD Courses under MG University.

MG University PhD Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for admission to the course at MG University here: 

• Candidates for admission to PhD programme shall have a Master’s degree in the concerned or related discipline or a professional degree declared equivalent to Master’s Degree of Mahatma Gandhi University or of other Universities, recognized as eligible for higher studies, thereto securing not less than 55% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational institution accredited by an assessment and accreditation agency which is approved, recognised or authorised by an authority established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions.
• In case, where a candidate with post-graduation from other universities proposes to do research in a subject not offered by the university, the subject must have been made equivalent by the University to the corresponding subject in the University.

MG University PhD Admission 2022: Selection Process 

Candidates can check the selection process for admission to MG University here: 

• Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the score in the entrance examination held by the university or NET / SLET / GATE / GPAT / JEST or other tests conducted by Government bodies such as UGC, CSIR, ICAR, ICSSR and ICMR.
• UGC / CSIR / KSCSTE / DST / INSPIRE / DBT / MANF / RGNF / NFSE / NFOBC Fellowship Awardees are exempted from entrance examination. 
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for doctoral interviews.
