South Asian University PG & PhD Admission 2022 Open, Last Date Extended till May 13

New Delhi: South Asian University, Delhi is currently accepting applications for its PG and PhD programmes for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, sau.int. The last date to submit the application form is extended till May 13, 2022.

South Asian University offers master's and PhD degrees in seven specializations that include Economics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, International Studies, Sociology, and Legal Studies. The master’s degree is for a duration of two years and has 30 seats per course. The minimum duration for PhD in SAU is three years and it has six seats per specialization.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree for admission to any master’s programme at South Asian University. While a master’s degree is needed for admission to the PhD programme. To get selected for the preferred course candidates need to appear in an entrance examination.

South Asian University PG & PhD Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

• MA, MSc and LLM- Aspiring candidates must have a bachelors degree in the relevant subject from an institution recognised by the government of any of the SAARC countries with minimum 55% for MSc and 50% for MA and LLM.
• PhD- Candidates must have a master's degree or equivalent in a relevant subject from an institution recognised by the government of any of the SAARC countries with 50% to 55% as per specializations.

• Firstly the applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam conducted by the university.
• Shortlisted candidates then have to appear for the personal interview rounds.
• The final selection is based on the overall performance, in the entrance exam, personal interview and evaluation of past academic records.

South Asian University PG & PhD Admission 2022: How to Apply?

• Visit the official application portal of SAU Delhi, at sau.int.
• Register yourself after filling in the required details, such as name, mobile number, email id, country, nationality and date of birth.
• Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the Application form.
• Pay the application fee of INR 750 and submit the Application form. 
• Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.
