SRM University Distance Education Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must read the following eligibility criteria to get admission in the courses offered by the institute.

• Applicants must be 16 years of age by 31 July of the calendar year in which the 12th meeting of the Council takes place.
• Applicants must pass the upper secondary examination with minimum 50% PCM/PCB points.
• Candidates must be Indian residents or non-Indian residents (NRIs) holding a PIO or OCI card issued by the Indian government.

SRM University Directorate of Online Education, Kanchipuram follows the following stages in the admission procedure: 

• SRM University allows entries to the general degree programs on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination. 
• Admission to the professional degree program like an MBA will need a valid score in the CAT/XAT/ MAT/CMAT.
• Shortlisted candidates through entrance exams are asked to complete counseling sessions.

SRM University Distance Education Admission 2023: How to Apply?

SRM University distance learning application process 2023 is conducted both online and offline. Applicants can apply via any one of the methods at their convenience. Both the processes are mentioned below in detail:

Step 1: Visit the official website of SRM University Directorate of Online Education, Kanchipuram at srmistdistanceeducation.in/ and click on ‘Admission India’ link.

Step 2: Click on ‘Directorate of Distance Education’ and then click on ‘Apply Now' button.

Step 3: In the next step, applicants are required to register themselves and then re-login again after verifying their email-id and mobile number.

Step 4: Start filling up the application form and upload all the necessary scanned documents.

Step 5: Pay the application fees of INR 500/- to complete the application procedure.

Step 6: Wait for the ‘Provisional Allotment order’ to reach the registered email within 24 hours after the DDE office verifies all the documents uploaded by the applicant.

Step 7: After receiving the Provisional Allotment Letter, applicants are required to pay the tuition fee either online (via net banking or RTGS) or send a DD drawn in favour of SRMIST Distance Education payable at Chennai.
