Tamil Nadu to Hold Class 12 Re-Exam on July 27

The state of Tamil Nadu is all set to hold the re-exam of Grade 12 on Monday, dated July 27,2020 in Chennai. Nearly, 840 candidates are to appear for the exams at 293 centres across the state.

Recently, Tamil Nadu Education Minister has declared that school lessons of Tamil Nadu Board schools will be televised from August 1. 

As per the official notifications, it was decided earlier to conduct re-exam for over 34000 absentees in the final exams of Grade 12 held in March during pre-lockdown period. But it was actually found and brought into notice that nearly around 700 candidates were found absent for one exam whereas the rest of them were absent for all the other exams.

Tamil Nadu board was supposed to declare the results of 10^th, 11^th, 12^th grade in the month of July, as was notified by the TN Education Minister.  

 The Class 12 result was announced on July 16. The result was good with a pass percentage of 92.34%
