Yes, you can take admission in IGNOU in August. There are two cycles of admission in IGNOU, that is, January and July. Your eligibility for admission to IGNOU will depend on the score you have secured in your last qualifying degree. 

But, if you are planning to pursue BEd then your admission is dependent on the IGNOU BEd Entrance Test score. The last date of application for admission in the July session is 30th June.

You will have to be smart and confident in your abilities to secure a seat in MBA program at Christ University. You will be considered for admission in MBA on the basis of your score in CAT or MAT and your performance in GD-PI conducted by Christ. Your specialization of MBA is usually decided in the second year as in the first year you will have to study all the subjects. In the second year, core subjects are taught. Also, your major in graduation does not matter as everyone is eligible for admission considering you have secured the minimum percentage required. I would also suggest you to practice for GD-PI as your performance during these two sessions will matter and your overall score card will be decided on this basis. The competition is quite steep so make sure to give your best. 

For pursuing MBA, your major during graduation does not matter. You will need to secure a 50% score in your graduation to be eligible for admission in MBA. However, you will have to give either CAT or MAT examination and your score in these exams will determine whether you will be eligible for taking admission or not. The cut-off marks are decided every year and students secure admission in MBA on the basis of their performance in either of these two examinations. So, yes you will have to give either CAT or MAT. Christ University also considered work experience so try to do an internship during your graduation which will be an added point in your resume. You are required to submit an IGNOU BEd application form to complete your candidature and appear in the IGNOU BEd Entrance Test. In the application process, you have to submit documents along with your photograph and signature to complete the process.
