According to the First Review, Biotechnology students become eligible for placements from 5th semester onwards. The minimum package starts from INR 13,000 to INR 15,000 per month and the maximum salary offered ranges from INR 40,000 to INR 50,000 every month. Additionally, as per the second review, companies like Biocon, Bharat Biotech, and Serum visit the campus to hire students from the Biotechnology department. Around 40% of students get placements. Is it compulsory for students to wear uniform daily at Chandigarh University?
Wearing a proper uniform daily at Chandigarh University depends on the academic course opted by the student. In the case of courses like Hotel Management, Airlines & Airport Management, Law, etc., it’s compulsory to wear a proper uniform as per the program requirement. For all other courses students are required to wear and follow the Formal Dress Code as recommended by the University only on Wednesdays.
It is mandatory to purchase uniforms from campus. They are available within the campus and can be purchased at the beginning of your classes. It is highly recommended that students avoid buying their uniforms from stores off campus.
The uniform for boys & girls is the same. The winter uniform comprises of navy blue college blazer and steel grey trousers with a college tie. Wearing a turban for Sikh boys is compulsory. Patkas & caps and half pants are not permitted in the college and are considered as an act of indiscipline. All students must wear proper uniforms during workshops & seminars.
I have my graduation in Commerce, can I apply for Masters in clinical psychology in Chandigarh university without CUET?
No, you cannot pursue MA in Clinical Psychology after graduating in Commerce. The course requires you to have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with at least 50% marks in aggregate as well as in Psychology.
