Will I get CSE at NIT Goa if I have a 19k OBC NCL rank?
According to the 2021 cutoff trend, the required cutoff of CSE for OBC category students is 14577 (HS). If you are an out-of-state student then the cutoff is 3779. So, getting admission to the institute will be tough if you are not a resident of Goa.

At IIT Kanpur, I would advise you to go for Chemical rather than Civil. BTech Chemical Engineering combined with Masters in Petroleum Engineering is the highest paying bracket in the USA with more than 74000 Jobs available for outsiders in the Middle East, US, and Canada at a five yr median of $ 18600.
Additionally, at IIT Kanpur the ocean of electives to choose from enables you to pursue CS course side by side through certifications in 64/128/256 bit SSL Encryption, Data Structures, and Oracle which have great importance. - You will encounter many such individuals on campus who are preparing for examinations like GRE, GATE, CAT, and more.
- The same students are also involved in several clubs and societies, besides initiating blueprints of their own startup. This is despite managing above 80% academically.
- Students also engage in sports like football, cricket, badminton, and various others.
You can have hobbies and maintain your academic profile side by side. It depends on whether or not you are interested in accomplishing it.
Which one is better, NIT Calicut CSE or IIT KGP agricultural?
NIT Calicut CSE is a better option compared to IIT KGP Agricultural. It offers good academics and placement opportunities for CSE. Which is better, CSE at NIT Rourkela or CSE at MNIT Jaipur? Why?
Without any second thoughts, CSE at MNIT Jaipur seems to be a far better option than CSE at NIT Rourkela. Although many rankings claim otherwise, it's a well-known fact that these rankings are forged and shouldn't be the determining factor.
- MNIT Jaipur has a vast and well-maintained campus with many modern facilities. For instance, it has Asia's largest lecture complex
- MNIT Jaipur has excellent infrastructure for its CSE branch such as a well-equipped computer center.
- MNIT Jaipur enjoys a good location with respect to leisure spots. Jaipur's biggest mall, WTP and is located within walking distance
- MNIT Jaipur CSE average package was recorded at INR 20.49 LPA while the highest package for CSE was INR 64 LPA.
Although individual opinions may vary, I consider CSE at MNIT Jaipur a more appropriate choice than NIT Rourkela.
