As a current BTech student at IET Lucknow, I can assure you the BTech syllabus is updated according to the latest AICTE curriculum and demands of the market. For the first year, the syllabus is common for all the branches. From the second year onwards, you will find specific topics on your specialisation.

Does IET Lucknow offer any scholarships?

I am a current student at IET Lucknow, and I can assure you that IET has enough provisions for scholarships if you are really a deserving candidate. The top scholarship offered is the UP Post Matric Scholarship. To be eligible for this scholarship, your family income should be equal to or less than INR 2 LPA. If you have any questions, you can go to the Dean’s office or to this link https://scholarship.up.gov.in/

You also need some documents to apply for the scholarship. You can refer to the list given below.

What are the admission dates for the MBA course at IET Lucknow?

I am an MBA aspirant looking to get admission at IET Lucknow. According to my research, the admissions are done via CUET-PG. The CUET-PG 2024 exam was held on March 11- March 24, 2024. The results were declared on April 13, 2024. The CUET-PG counselling for this academic year has been ongoing since April 24, and you can expect it to continue till June 20, 2024. All dates for the admissions will be regularly updated on their official website, so please keep an eye on it.

What are the admission dates for the MTech course at IET Lucknow?

According to my seniors at IET, you should keep an eye of the website for all the recent updates on MTech admissions. The admissions to MTech is basically done on the basis of GATE score, but non-GATE candidates can also apply. 

The GATE 2024 admit card was released on January 3, 2024, and the exam was held on February 3,4,10, and 11, 2024. The results were announced on March 16, 2024. What are the admission dates for the BTech course at IET Lucknow?

I would suggest you to regularly check the official website of IET Lucknow for updates regarding admission dates. IET generally releases the admission dates around the time of JEE-Mains and the start of the academic year. 

For the current academic year, admissions will be done on the basis of JEE-Main scores. The JEE-Main registration date started on November 30, 2023. After that JEE-Mains 2024 exam was held on January 24 - February 1, 2024. The 2nd session was held on April 1- April 15, 2024. The tentative dates for UPTAC registration and counselling for admission to BTech is around July, 2024 - October, 24.

The first-year fee for MTech at IET Lucknow is INR 73,200. The annual fee for the following year is INR 68,200. This makes the total fee around INR 1.41 lakhs. Apart from this, students who also want hostel accommodation have to pay around 1.70 lakhs in total. Scholarships and stipends are also available for meritorious students. IET Lucknow offers a two-year MBA program in various specialisations like Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, International Business, Information Technology, and Operations Management. Apart from attempting the CUET-PG exam, you also need to meet the general criteria for taking admission to the MBA program. Here are the detailed general eligibility criteria. 

  • A 3-year Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised Indian university, or an equivalent institute recognised by the AIU, with at least 50% of marks in total. SC/ST candidates are given a 5% relaxation in total marks.
