20,000 is a pretty good rank and it will open ample branch options for you, even more if you are a Delhi Candidate. I have mentioned below the previous year JEE MAIN cutoff for B.Tech admissions at DTU-

Unfortunately, a rank of 20,000 in JEE MAIN won’t fetch you a seat in Computer Engineering / IT / Software Engineering at DTU. You won’t get admission into Mathematics & Computing or ECE if you are a non-delhi candidate. But all the other branches will be most certainly open for you. In case you are a Delhi candidate, things will be even more in your favor.

94 percentile in JEE Main 2024 will roughly fetch you a rank between 69,801-70,000. I am assuming you are a general category candidate.

(For the Delhi Quota, the candidate must have completed their class 11th and 12th from Delhi). DTU conducts engineering admissions through JAC Delhi Counselling.

The choice is ultimately yours to make. But if you are keen to get admission into DTU, you can surely opt for one of these branches.

As evident from the table, the JEE Main cutoff at IIIT Delhi is quite high (between 5,489-10,141 for OS candidates, and 8,416-30,593 for HS candidates). Therefore, it is unfortunately highly unlikely for you to get an admission into IIIT Delhi for a B.Tech program with 90 percentile in JEE Main 2024. This is especially true if you are a general category candidate.

93 percentile in JEE MAIN 2024 roughly corresponds to 83,601-85,000 rank. I am assuming that you are an open category candidate.

From this table, it is evident that unfortunately, you won’t be able to secure a seat at NIT Trichy with 93 percentile ( roughly 83,601-85,000 rank).

95 percentile in JEE Main 2024 is roughly a rank between 59,001-60,000. Since you are an open category candidate, unfortunately, you won’t get a seat in NIT Trichy. However, you can check your chances in the female-only seats if you are eligible for the same.

From the table above, it is clear that 95 percentile is not sufficient to get you a seat at NIT Trichy as an open category candidate.

Since you haven’t mentioned a particular category, I am assuming that you are an unreserved candidate. NITs offer two kinds of seats through JoSAA counseling, one set of seats are reserved for home state candidates, while another set is for students from other states. Home State Quota applies to the candidates who complete their class 11th and 12th from the state of their desired NIT.

As evident from the table above, a rank >=36,000 can sadly not fetch you a seat in NIT Trichy. So 97 percentile will not get you a B.Tech admission at NIT Trichy.

Admission to the MBA program is highly competitive and relies on various factors other than the graduation score. While a good score in your bachelor’s degree is essential, your overall profile is assessed to provide admission. You will be called for an interview based on your profile, not your score.

Academics, CAT or GMAT score, statement of purpose (SOP) and work experience are some of the top aspects that BITS will look into your profile while considering your application. Shortlisting of candidates for the MBA program will be based on your performance in the group discussion or the personal interview. It is essential to improve in other areas to increase your chances of getting a call. 

A well-rounded profile with a passion for management is typically preferred. A good academic record and a CAT percentage above 80 should generally make you eligible for the MBA call. BITS Pilani offer an MBA in business analytics specialisation.

Unlike government institutes like IITs and NITs, BIST Pilani does not offer reservations based on caste. Also, the JEE Main exam is not considered by BITS Pilani and it only allows admission based on its own entrance exam called BITSAT. The exam is 3 hours long and will test your proficiency in physics, chemistry, mathematics and English along with logical reasoning. 

Coming to your second concern, BITS Pilani does not offer any BTech courses. As you are interested in CSE, you can consider the BE course course with Computer Science specialisation.
