How is Parul University’s curriculum for BCA Artificial Intelligence?

A
Admin Posted On : May 16th, 2024

I am a BCA (AI) student at Parul University and this is my opinion on the curriculum.

The syllabus is created by industry experts who have been working in the AI and tech industry for years. The syllabus focuses more on the practical aspects than just plain theory.

We are taught a variety of topics, right from fundamentals to advanced-level AI concepts. The syllabus includes topics like fundamentals of AI, machine learning, full-stack web development, mathematics, etc.

How is the overall experience of the Parul University’s hostel and the facilities they offer?

A
Admin Posted On : May 16th, 2024

I am from a different state and am currently staying in Parul University’s hostel.

  • The hostel facility is pretty good and you get your room with a bed, cupboard, study table, study lamp, bedsheets, etc.
  • The overall hostel infrastructure is good and affordable as well.
  • The food provided is also pretty good. You get Gujarati, and Rajasthani cuisines mainly.
  • Overall, I would rate Parul University’s hostel a 4 out of 5 for the facilities they offer, and 3 out of 5 for the meals. I think they should include more cuisines.

What is ‘credit transfer’ in BBA and other courses at Lovely Professional University?

A
Admin Posted On : May 16th, 2024

I am a student of Lovely Professional University.

The Credit Transfer System at LPU means that the credits/subjects studied and passed at LPU will be considered by a foreign university (that is collaborating with LPU) as their own. As a result, the student will get admission into the 3rd year of that particular course in that foreign university straightaway.

This is a foreign collaboration initiative which allows LPU students to complete 2 years in India and 2 years abroad/ 2 years in India and 1 year abroad/1 year in India and 1 year abroad. Through this collaboration, the students get a foreign university degree and ample exposure while saving a chunk of their tuition fees, which would otherwise be much higher in case they opt to pursue the entire course abroad.

These are the collaborating foreign universities for this program-

USA

  • State University of New York, Oswego
  • California State University, San Bernardino
  • Northern Arizona University
  • San Francisco State University
  • Northern Illinois University
  • Tiffin University
  • Murray State University

Canada

  • The University of Lethbridge
  • Cape Breton University
  • Trent University
  • South Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT)
  • Laurentian University

Australia

  • University of Newcastle
  • Curtin University
  • James Cook University
  • La Trobe University
  • Swinburne University of Technology
  • Deakin University
  • University of Technology Sydney
  • Western Sydney University
  • University of Wollongong

UK

  • Heriot-Watt University
  • University of Huddersfield
  • University of Greenwich
  • Nottingham Trent University
  • University of Derby
  • University of Leeds
  • The University of Strathclyde
  • Manchester Metropolitan University
  • Arts University of Bournemouth

What should I do if I am receiving ‘no slot available’ after applying for the LPUNEST exam for B.Tech CSE?

A
Admin Posted On : May 16th, 2024

I am a B.Tech student at LPU, and I appeared for LPUNEST in 2022.

In case there are no slots available for the exam center of your choice, you can fill in an alternate center. If you are failing to get a slot option due to technical difficulties, make sure there are no discrepancies in your registration/application form. In case you find some, refill your form.

If your problem does not resolve even after taking these measures, I would suggest you call the university office. The admission counselors will help solve your problem. In any case, the university will call you in a day or two and guide you through the formalities. They might even give you a slot on their own. The information of the same will be given on your dashboard.

I hope I was of some help to you.

I have a BPharm degree from LPU. Will it be valid in Canada?

A
Admin Posted On : May 15th, 2024

Yes, LPU degrees whether it is BPharm or any other are valid in Canada. There may be some differences based on your course curriculum that you may have to consider. LPU degrees are used for immigration purposes by Canadian authorities if they meet the requirements.

With your BPharm degree in Canada, you may be required to undergo certain additional vocational programs or tests to make it valid. The concerned professional organisation of your field may verify some criteria.

LPU’s distance learning programs are also approved by Canada’s World Education Services (WES). This can also assure you that your BPharm degree will be valid there. LPU is also approved by the UGC making the degrees valid in India and also in other countries.
