Is there anyone who regrets joining IPM IIM Indore? Why?
IPM offered by IIM Indore is a relatively new course. The lack of awareness regarding the course may have been a reason for regret for some students who joined initially. Here are some of the factors regarding the course which can be a bit concerning.
- The course fee is too high. So, it may not be a good choice in terms of ROI.
- It’s a long-term commitment since the course is 5 years long.
- Although IPM students sit alongside the PGP students for placements, some companies may prefer PGP students over IPM. As companies tend to consider IPM students as freshers, the average CTC offered to IPM students is less as compared to PGP students.
- IPM course curriculum is still experimental.

Which degree do you get from IPM IIM Indore?
IPM from IIM Indore is a Five-Year Integrated Programme. In this course, the participants are awarded the Bachelor of Arts (Foundations of Management) and the Master of Business Administration (under the Dual Degree Programme) by IIM Indore on the completion of the program.
On completion of the IPM course, the students get an IDM, “Integrated Diploma in management."

Eligibility Criteria
- Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)/(10+2) Examination or any other equivalent examination from a recognized board with minimum 60% aggregate marks, passed in 2020, 2021 or appearing in 2022.
- Candidates who are appearing for these exams in the year 2022 are also eligible to apply. They will be shortlisted if they obtain the minimum marks.
- Candidates should have English as a compulsory subject in HSC/(10+2) Examination.
Shortlisting Criteria
Minimum aggregate score of 60% in both X and XII examinations.
Students will be shortlisted and informed at their registered email address. Thereafter, candidates will have to appear for an online interview and micro-presentation (20-25 minutes duration overall).

Who is eligible to apply for the IPM course at IIM Indore?
The integrated Programme in Management started in the year 2011. This course has 15 terms in total with 3 terms each year. The minimum eligibility for the program is a degree in HSC from a recognized board.
Students who are currently studying in 12th std. are eligible for filling out the application form that is available online. The application form usually releases in May. IPMAT would take place on June 16, 2023. The course might require you to take classes for preparation if you don’t have a good grasp of maths and reasoning. But other than high school certification you are only required to take the IPMAT exam.
Can a BBA graduate do MA in German language?
Yes, you can definitely do an MA in the German Language after completing your BBA. However, if you are planning to finish the BBA program next year, I will advise you to start preparing for your application process immediately.

How do I prepare for IIM, Indore IPM on my drop year?
It is preferable if you enroll in any educational coaching institution because you are taking a drop year, especially for IPM preparation. This is because for IPM, students have to give a PI and an Aptitude Test.
- The classes would be well-versed in giving CAT and IPMAT foundation courses which can be considered an additional benefit.
- Also, you will not be familiar with the format of IPMAT unless you attempt a mock test before the final exam.
- IPMAT is online, there won't be any previous year question bank, therefore the mock tests will offer you an advantage and also assist you for the PI round involved in the selection process.
- For the Quantitative aptitude section, I would suggest that you refer to NCERT questions (Classes 11th and 12th) and several competitive examinations questions..
- For the verbal aptitude test, You should focus on improving your basic grammar, reading books, and improving your vocabulary.
Lastly, as I have seen my friends prepare and do well in exams, I will encourage you to do the same. Be confident while giving your answers and attend the PI with complete honesty.

Is IPM - IIM Indore worth trying?
One of my friends graduated from IIM Indore and according to him, it's worth trying as it provides an opportunity to get admission to IIM Indore, one of India’s top educational institutes.
- The placement of IPM is also similar to PGP candidates so you don't have to worry about the placement. In the 2021 placement, the average and highest CTC offered were 23 LPA and 56 LPA.
- You will also get the opportunity to study from some of the best professors in the country.
- The admission test for IPM is not that hard. If you go through last year’s question paper, you will find basic questions from the syllabus of 10+2. While CAT is a lot more competitive.
IPM from IIM Indore is a decent program with good faculty and placement opportunities, so you should opt for it, given the option.
Is it a right decision to join IIM indore for integrated MBA after plus2?
The integrated MBA program at IIM Indore or as the name goes, the IPM program would be the best option to go for if you are not interested in the technological field or any other field and you want to start your own business or get placed at a good company in the field of management.
If some other field of study interests you then I would suggest you go for the same and not for the IPM program and regret it later.
As far as the placements are concerned, even though I do not know much about it, I am pretty sure you will get placed with a good company and IIM Indore is a reputed B-school.
