According to the experience of one of my friends, there is no job guarantee that the university provides to the students.

• All the students should make themselves very active to grasp things through various means so that they can prepare themselves professionally.
• Students should be very much careful about their regular internships, participating in different inter-college as well as intra-college competitions, updating their Linkedin profile regularly, pursuing many certification courses along with BBA, writing articles for many brands, and working on their public speaking skills.
• All these activities can boost your profile and standby you among your other competitors as well.
• Doing all these can increase your chances for job opportunities, though the university does not promise.

Last but not least we can say don't rush for the job only after your degree, firstly prepare yourself for attaining that level and then dream of getting a respectable job.

Choosing among the two given institutes depends upon what you want to pursue in the future. The points below give a brief overview of the advantages of both the choices, based on which you can make a decision.

• If you want to do an MBA after the B.Tech directly, without preparing for CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT, NMAT, etc. prefer the MBA Tech course from NMIMS. Although the B.Tech degree from NMIMS is not that good, the MBA degree is quite valuable and offers decent opportunities.
• If you want to do a separate B. Tech and then prepare for CAT, XAT, GMAT, etc for an MBA, then you should choose SRM over the other. In addition, the ECE department is one of the best departments in SRM University, which has an excellent faculty and offers good placements too.
• If you are interested in doing MBA from some foreign university, get minimum work experience after graduation.

These are some of the most important things to consider that will help you make a choice among the institutes.

My sister studied at NMIMS and clearly the college does not release different rank lists for different college programs. Just think it this way- do you expect colleges to actually release a rank list for those interested in a technical course in pharmacy?

MPSTME mainly provides two streams of programs, i.e. Engineering and Pharmacy and NMIMS is a University with a number of colleges providing different types and levels of educational study under its aegis and praxis.

You can make a choice only on the basis of your rank and the college seat available under that program.

Symbiosis is one of the prominently known universities for full-time PGDM whereas, NMIMS is the university best for distance learning PGDM. One of my friends is studying at NMIMS and his overall experience of this college was nice.

Symbiosis provides a degree from SCDL and it isn’t recognized by any government board. Whereas, NMIMS is recognized by UGC and NAAC. 

NMIMS has a proper examination center plus information centers. On the other hand, Symbiosis doesn’t have any information center. 

NMIMS also provides great help to students with the following. 

• Online lectures with Live recordings.
• Course books with extra materials to read or reference materials. 
• Books and access to e-resources from Digital libraries. 
• Assignments, Mock Tests, and Model answers.
• Research databases, eBooks databases, and electronic journals. 

Hence, NMIMS is a better choice for distance learning than Symbiosis.
