Are you confused about the branch of choice or college? If you want to choose the better institute then you should choose DDU. It is a lot better institute than CSPIT.
If you are confused about choosing the branch, then I can say that the syllabus for IT at DDU is better than CSE at CSPIT. Also, DDU has a branch change scheme. If you have a decent CGPA, you can change your branch after the completion of your first year. So, you can switch to CE.
There are various clubs at Dharmsinh Desai Universitywhich you can join. Here are some of them.
There are also some other groups like NSS which is a social club, Shutterbugs which is a photography club, Go Mad and IT Talks which are student activity centers.

I have a few friends from BVM and DDU and based on the reviews that I got from them, I will suggest you choose the former. BVM is better for Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Computer, IT branches. Here are some of the reasons why you should choose BVM.
Overall, compared to DDU, BVM is definitely a better option.

Both universities are good and have their own pros and cons. To choose the best university among them depends entirely upon the goals, expectations, availability of resources, and aspirations of each individual.
The decision depends upon your area of interest.
Talking about IET, it is one of the best colleges and mainly focuses on project-based learning and you will get projects for every subject. Also, the faculty is very experienced and highly qualified. Most of them are from foreign universities. In mechanical there are best faculties and labs.
DDU is a government Institute. IT field of DDU as I have heard is good and has good faculties.
If you love coding and algorithms you should opt for it, or if you love moving things and analyzing them you should opt for IET. Hope this helps you in making the decision.
PDPU and DDU are both private universities. PDPU is AICTE approved and has ranked 177 by NIRF, 2020. It has also been awarded NAAC grade A. On the other hand, DDU has been awarded grade B++ by NAAC.

At DDU, research work is encouraged. Tests are conducted on weekly basis to facilitate learning. Students are taken on various field trips by both universities.
Placements:
Over the years the placement opportunities at PDPU have remained the same whereas the fees have increased considerably. Placement opportunities at DDU have increased over the years.
ICT offered by both PDPU and DDU is good. Both colleges have their own advantages. Deciding which college to opt for depends on each individual’s expectations, resources, feasibility, and goals.
Both Nirma and DDU Nadiad are very good colleges and provide very good facilities to the students. But you should choose a college based on the department.

Course Fee | 7.24 lakh | 6.08 lakh |
Highest CTC | 13 LPA | 9 LPA |
Average CTC | 8 LPA | 5-6 LPA |

Hence, DDU Nadiad and Nirma are both very good colleges with amazing academics and placements. The students studying here will get many opportunities to learn new skills and improve themselves.
There are a lot of differences between the Dharam Singh College which is situated in Nadiad and the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Institute of Technology.
Therefore, it is suggested that you opt for SVNIT rather than Dharmsinh Desai University. As it will provide you better opportunities both in academics and placements.
