How can I get a degree from Lucknow University?
After doing some research online, I found out to get admission at Lucknow University you have to go through some steps.
- Filling up the admission form with all the details is the first thing to do.
- The form is available from January to February.
- After the submission of the form the authorities will provide you with the updates of the entrance exam.
- The admit cards will then be released on the official website.
- After qualifying the exam, your marks will be put up in the merit list. There will be a cut off for every course.
- If you satisfy the cut off you can get admission in the college of your preference.
To be a part of Lucknow university you must score well in the exam. And after taking admission attend your classes, study hard and give the exams offered by the university both internal and external.
How do I get transcripts from Lucknow university, Lucknow?
One of my friends got his transcript in February 2019. According to him, the process of getting a transcript is very easy.
Let me explain how you could get one:
- You need to pay Rs 2000, per candidate no matter how many courses you have done.
- And if you need more than one copy of the transcript then you have to pay extra Rs 1000 for each copy.
- Take the transcript fees payment receipt, all copies of mark sheets and write an application requesting for the transcript, attach all these and submit them at the registrar office.
- After 1 week or 2, you can visit the examination building and collect your transcript.
I am not aware if there is any process to collect the transcript without visiting the university, but they allow someone else to submit the application and take the transcript.
The process is changed now and it can be done online. You have to pay the fees at the homepage of the university. You can also request it from the EASE portal, the website has many bugs which may be problematic.
What is the syllabus for the entrance exam in Lucknow University for a B.Sc. in maths?
The syllabus for the entrance exam in Lucknow University for B.Sc. Maths is:
- The entrance test will consist of 100 objective-type questions to be answered in 90 minutes.
- The marking Pattern for each question will be of 4 marks.
- 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer and 0 mark will be awarded for each unattempted question.
- In the entrance test, there will be questions from subjects that are taught at the intermediate level in various boards like UP board, ISC, and CBSE.
- B.Sc. (Mathematics Group) questions will be asked from - Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics.
- In the entrance test, there will be questions from subjects chemistry, physics, and maths, that are taught at the intermediate level in various boards like State Board, ISC, and CBSE.
For General and Other Backward Classes, you must secure at least 40% of marks and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, a minimum number of marks obtained should be 33% based on total marks of all subjects.
Which one is better for B Com Allahabad University or Lucknow University?
Lucknow University is the best among these for B.Com. The university has a great commerce faculty. It offers great academics. It also organizes various workshops and seminars around the academic year. Around 70-80% of the students get placed in the B.Com course. The highest CTC offered is around INR 9 LPA. Students are usually recruited as accountants or managers.
Which is better CSJM University or Lucknow University?
It is determined by the degree you intend to pursue and your objectives in that regard.
Both colleges are well-known in their respective fields, and your choice will be depending on your requirements. Though, if you want to acquire a degree as a regular student, I would recommend Lucknow University, and if you want to get a correspondence degree, I would recommend CSJM University.
Lucknow University has made 75 percent attendance mandatory for UG degrees, which is a wonderful step, but it has also proven to be a bane for working students. So, if you are working, I recommend Kanpur University, otherwise, go for Lucknow University. It also offers decent placement opportunities. The average CTC offered at the institute is 4 LPA.
Lucknow University, while not the finest, but definitely superior to CSJM University.

A BBA from Babu Banarasi Das is better. BBD offers a wide range of learning resources including study materials and international e-journals. The university has many programs for business studies. It offers a BBA+MBA program as well.
Babu Banarasi Das placement highlights show around 85% of BBA students get placed. The highest CTC offered for BBA is around INR 5 LPA.
How can I do my BSc from Lucknow University?
Lucknow University conducts an entrance examination for admission in UG programs. You must have passed with 1st division (60% marks) in your intermediate exam from any board.
You must have the following subjects in your 10+2 - Physics, Chemistry, Astronomy, Computer Science, Statistics, Electronics. It is advisable to choose your subjects carefully and study properly.
The university usually releases application forms at the beginning of March and the counseling session begins after the result of the entrance exam is announced. The main struggle will start after admission because Lucknow university does not provide“spoon-feeding” to students (especially those who are from the science stream) like other colleges. You will not receive any comprehensive notes of all the subjects. The university really focuses on the growth of students on their own. Lucknow University will certainly not provide you full notes on all subjects, but teachers here teach really very well, and you can make notes by yourself if you are sincere enough.
Making notes is an art that every student should know and the university will help you practice it well. The primary part of the B.Sc course is Practicals. You will have the best practical classes here at Lucknow University, much better than any other college.
Last but not the least, professors are very helpful here and are always available for your doubts or queries. You will never feel in this college that you should do coaching or take any other help because professors are always there for any help.
