• Dr. Deepak Chopra Sir: A well-known figure in alternate medicine
• Dr. Rameshwar Nath Koul Bamezai: This Padma Shri awardee is the coordinator of the National Centre of Applied Human Genetics, School of Life Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University(JNU).
• Ramakanta Panda: He is the chief consultant for cardiovascular thoracic surgery and the group CEO of the Asian Heart Institute.
• Dr.M.K.Bhan Sir: He is the president of JIPMER Pondicherry.
• Dr.Roman Saini Sir: An IAS officer and one of the co-founders of Unacademy, 
• Dr.Sanjiv Chopra Sir: This Indian-origin American author is a Professor of Medicine and former Dean for Continuing Medical Education at the University of Harvard.
• Dr.Vinay Kumar Sir: He is the chairperson of the Department of Pathology at the University of Chicago, U.S.A. 
• Soumya Swaminathan: She is an Indian pediatrician and clinical scientist famous for her research on tuberculosis and HIV.

It’s important to note that this list is not exhaustive and there are many more who have shone the name of the institute and are still carrying its legacy.

Besides HRM, courses like Marketing, Finance, and Operations also saw various alumni that are at the top level of Fortune 500 companies. Some among many have inaugurated their own start-ups and have also made successful products.

SVNIT has been an alma mater to numerous achievers and well known personalities.

Here are two of the many notable persons who received their education from SVNIT-

• Perry Mehta- President and CEO, Futurenet Group. 

He completed his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from SVNIT in 1984. Futurenet is an IT service provider and environment technology firm. It was listed among top 50 companies to watch for in Michigan, and was recognized as one of the top 10 fastest growing companies in the USA by Harvard Business School, Boston.

In a joint venture with the research and technological aid of SVNIT, Futurenet worked to set up India’s first salt water desalination plant in SVNIT campus. The aim of this project was to make SVNIT completely independent of the municipal water system. 

Mr. Mehta has received numerous awards and honors from the US government for his successful entrepreneurial ventures. 

• Amit Sharma- Executive Director & CEO of Tata Consulting Engineers Ltd.

Mr. Sharma completed his B.Tech Mechanical from NIT Surat, and went on to complete his MS in Mechanical from Arizona State University. He took the office of the Executive Director and CEO of Tata Consulting Engineers Ltd. on 4th July, 2012. He also serves as a Director on the board of Ecofirst Services India Private Ltd. 

These are not even a handful of the high achievers who graduated from SVNIT. The list is quite large.
