The intake capacity of CSE at Sharda University is 180 but most of the colleges including Sharda University teach CS and IT students together, so the combined intake capacity would be 300.

There are around 4-5 sections in the CS department and each section includes 50-60 students. Sharda University takes admission of around 400-500 students which is more than its intake capacity because around 30% of the students either leave the college or opt for other courses like BBA or BJMC.
