I am currently studying at LPU, and I can assure you that the university takes ample initiatives for the personality development of its students. 

The curriculum at LPU includes core subjects as well as communication, analytical and soft skill courses for the personality development of students. This in return, works to increase their employability. Both credit and non-credit based soft skill courses are taught to the students to increase their interpersonal skills and placement ability. 

These courses are known under the umbrella term of Professional Enhancement Programmes (PEP). Through these courses, the students are prepared well so that they can succeed during placements. PEP lectures start from semester 1 and continue till the final semester. Moreover, the university conducts extensive training sessions to prepare students for the placement season.

LPU provide students with the opportunity to re-appear in the exam they fail so that their academic year can be saved. The general steps that can be followed are as follows. 

• If you fail the BSc exam, you will be given three attempts to clear the backlog. If you manage to pass on the first attempt, your passing marks will be recorded otherwise you can move forward with the second or third attempt if necessary. 
• The University Management System (UMS) is responsible for conducting reappear exams. It generally takes place 10 to 15 days after the release of marks/results. 
• Reappearing exam notification is released by UMS. You will be required to fill out the reappearing exam form for the subject you want to reappear in. 
• The university may also ask you to completely re-enroll in the course if needed.

There are diverse events conducted by LPU across the year. These events cater to academic, social and cultural aspects in which BSc students can also take part. There are events like conferences, seminars and workshops across various disciplines that BSc students will find helpful. Yes, BSc students can learn foreign languages at LPU through short-term courses. These courses are designed in a way so that you can continue pursuing your BSc degree and at the same time learn a new language. These short-term foreign language courses aim to provide students with the chance to excel in MNCs as they expand their operations in India. 

Currently, LPU offers four types of language courses in French, German, Japanese and Spanish - Basic, Elementary, Fundamental and Intensive. You will be provided with a certificate upon the course completion. The basic language course is the most pursued by students whose details I’ve mentioned in the table below. 

There are different evaluation methods that LPU use to grade students in different courses. BSc programs are evaluated through a series of processes that also include assignments and projects. You should adhere to the guidelines provided by the university and try to produce assignments and projects that follow the rules. 

1. Other than examinations and group projects, assignments and projects are the best sources to check candidates' development and grasping ability. 
2. The assignments or projects are checked for accuracy, subject relevance and innovative thinking.
3. Additionally, presentation style and originality are often praised. 

BTech aerospace engineering is one of the premier engineering disciplines at LPU. The course is designed for students interested in designing aircraft, spacecraft and more. They are also exposed to testing prototypes and assembling aircraft parts like airframes and wings. 

For admission to the BTech aerospace engineering program at LPU, you have to clear the LPUNEST entrance exam or CUET or JEE Main exam. As you have already qualified LPUNEST, you should check whether you are eligible for the course. The general eligibility criteria are 60% marks in class 12 with physics, maths, chemistry and English as main subjects. 

With LPUNEST cleared, you should also opt for the scholarship. You can get up to 48% off on your program fee through the scholarship.
