No matter how much the infrastructure lacks, the students get rewarded in the future if they work hard. Currently, IIIT Ranchi and Thapar may have better infrastructure or even placement records, but NIT Uttarakhand is improving with time and will definitely improve a lot in coming years.
You will have to write an application to the deputy registrar of Academics. Alternatively, you can also send an email to Deputy Registrar with your application.
As far as transcripts are concerned, you need to send the complete address of the universities for which you are applying. Along with this, send two sets of your mark sheet photocopies and degree certificate.
These sets should be authorized by the college and the other set should be duly notarized by a legal or commissioner of oaths or self.
Lastly, your transcripts will only be sent once the administration receives the photocopies of your mark sheets and degree certificates. Overall, it is a pretty simple process. Your work should get done smoothly.
Among the above institutes, PEC Chandigarh is the best choice, considering the factors of availability in streams, fee structure, etc. If you have a specific branch in mind to pursue, then you can definitely choose PEC Chandigarh. Honestly speaking, both Thapar University and Manipal University are reputable institutions for a B.Tech in computer science. So the decision on which one is better for you ultimately depends on your personal preferences and priorities. is
Thapar University is a highly esteemed, private engineering and technology university located in Patiala, India. Known for its strong academic programs and rich research culture in computer science, this university has it all. Additionally, it offers a range of student services, including career counseling and internships.
Manipal University, on the other hand, is a private university located in Manipal, India. It is one of the oldest and most established universities in the country and is known for its iRobot programs in CSE. The university has a number of student-driven bodies that promote extracurricular activities.
Some factors to consider while choosing between the two include
Both the colleges are almost similar in all aspects. So what actually matters is that if you live in the North, choose Thapar but if you are from the south choose Manipal. Both universities have the same fee and both are equally reputed private colleges after BITS. So I would suggest that whichever college is near your hometown go for it.
Ultimately, both universities are highly esteemed institutions and either one would be a decent choice for a B.Tech in computer science.
Both Thapar University and Manipal University offer excellent BTech programs in Computer Science. However, while choosing one over the other, you can consider the following points of comparison,
In all, Thapar University has a better reputation, opportunities and attracts a better crowd. So unless you are getting your preferred branch in Manipal only, go for Thapar University
I know a few things about LNMIIT since I have few friends there. It is a public-private non-profitable college, located in Rajasthan. From what I heard from my friends, I will not recommend choosing this institute.
If you want to build upon your career, don’t choose LNMIIT. Mostly, half of the batch fails in the exams.
Finally, life is tough at LNMIIT, so don’t go for it. Look for other options.
Some of my friends studied at Thapar University. According to them there's definitely no uniforms in Thapar University.
A uniform might be needed for these. Sometimes a faculty member might ask you to be in formals, they do expect that, but no restrictions as such.
If you are not liking your college life currently, there are a few options you can explore. These could include any of the following:
You should find your calling and pursue it. This will help you truly enjoy your college life and you will not regret your decision.
Both Mechanical from Thapar University and Metallurgy at NIT Durgapur are great options. However, if you want to attach a NIT tag to your degree, then NIT Durgapur is a great option.
The Metallurgy and Material Science branch at NIT Jamshedpur has a decent faculty pool with a mix of good and bad professors. Additionally, companies like Tata Steel, JCAPCPL, and many more visit during placements.
Here is a brief comparison of these institutes
