IIFT conducts its own entrance test while for XLRI you need to appear for XAT. All other colleges like FMS, IIMs accept CAT scores only. All these are difficult entrance tests on their own, so focus on getting a good percentile in all the entrance tests in the first place.
After getting a good percentile, getting calls and eventual conversion depends on a lot of factors including past academic records, work experience, and GD/PI performance.
- Since your overall profile is being evaluated, with an average academic past, IIM Ahmedabad will only call you if you score close to the 100 percentile.

FACULTY: In NDIM Delhi, the professionals are easily approachable and are very helpful. The guest teachers are highly knowledgeable and experienced. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. The course curriculum is also apt. While the faculty members in the BIMM Pune are highly experienced and experts in their fields. The teachers are helpful and clear all the queries of students.
INFRASTRUCTURE: The infrastructure in NDIM Delhi and BIMM Pune is good. Both the Colleges have a highly maintained canteen and the sports complexes and library are well equipped. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned and are spacious.
How would you compare KJ Somaiya's PGDM with NIRMA's MBA in terms of placement and opportunities? Which one will be better?
Comparing the 2 B Schools that are KJ Somaiya and NIRMA, I would say both are equal in terms of placements, opportunities and exposure. The only factor you need to consider here is location. NIRMA is a good choice if your hometown is nearby. But if you want to enjoy your college life, explore and make memories, KJ Somaiya is the best. Located in Vidyavihar, a student-dominated area in Mumbai, it has an amazing campus with top-notch facilities.

- Before enrolling into any B-school first get clear what you want from the course and university.
- Above mentioned, JBIMS, FMS, ISB, XLRI, and SP JAIN, all are good and give you a good job opportunity.
- While MBA programs from ISB, FMS, XLRI are economical, SP Jain Mumbai and Jamnalal Bajaj Mumbai are also good.
Therefore, before getting into any B school first become clear what you want. If you want to work in the US, then go for a full-time MBA program from the top 20 colleges only.
Which is better college for MBA Amity University, Kolkata or Heritage Business School, Kolkata?
Heritage Business School, Kolkata is comparably better than Amity University, Kolkata. It offers decent placements. The salary packages offered range between INR 3 - 6 LPA. ITC, Deloitte, and E&Y are some of the major recruiters that take part in the campus drive.
