One of my brother’s friends also faced a similar issue. He was a student of CSE and wrote exams more than 3 times and still failed in all subjects. He tried coordinating with the authorities but in vain. He had to finally give up engineering and move on to another field. He even tried taking some legal actions but it bore no results.
RGPV is an old university with experienced and old staff. They don’t pay much heed to the complaints.
There are two things you can do at this point. Either fight them with all your might. Remember you will have to invest time, effort and a lot of energy in this. Or you can move on and do something better and more important in life. My acquaintance decided the latter as he thought he might waste his entire youth fighting with them. I will suggest you take up a different field and excel in it.
TET is a Teacher Eligibility Test which is conducted on a state level. For applications to government schools in a particular state, you are required to appear for TET. For example, if you are looking to apply for government schools in Haryana, you will have to appear for the Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test (HTET). Similarly, applications for schools in Kerala will be done through Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test (K-TET).
CTET on the other hand, is a Central Teachers Eligibility Test and is a national entrance examination conducted to qualify eligible teachers for primary and secondary levels in government schools. The first advice would be to solve your DPP or CPP modules which the coaching centers provide as those are well referenced from previous exams. After that, apply for a monthly or a weekly test series by any reputed coaching institute. These will gradually point out your mistakes and prepare you for the final exam. Give preference to solving questions rather than reading the theory.
The books which would be good for the preparation are: -
Some additional preparation sources other than those mentioned above would also prove beneficial. Solve questions of previous year’s JEE exams so that you can get the command over Physics and Chemistry. Moreover, practice organic chemistry a lot since it takes most of the time in the Chemistry section.
NEET PG is like any other entrance exam. So the UG college doesn’t really matter when giving your PG entrance.
But it is true that your clinical postings have a bearing on the things you remember when reading your preparation material. Your exposure to clinical signs, diagnosis, radiological findings, and surgical procedures makes you remember things. A dedicated faculty, motivated peers, and hardworking seniors will have a huge impact on you. Good seniors offer tips and tricks on cracking entrance exams.
Coming to KMC Manipal, it is a premiere institute. It is at par with most government medical colleges. The alumni of this college can vouch for its good academics and campus life.
You’ll have to prepare for your PG with efficiency and diligence. Your UG college won’t have much of a role in this regard. KMC Manipal is a good choice for an MBBS, and it will offer you all the facilities and exposure.
I have sources for the previous year's semester's question papers for the BTech in VSSUT. Some of these sources are
It’s advisable to go through the question papers once before the exam because every year some questions or the pattern gets repeated.
Bhubaneswar offers good coaching institutes for JEE Mains, which includes FIIT-JEE, RESONANCE, AAKASH and in 2019 ALLEN has also opened its branch in this city. To prepare for JEE Mains, one of the best options in Bhubaneswar is going for individual subject coaching and taking the weekend program of FIIT-JEE or RESONANCE. If it is too expensive for you then you can opt for DLP of ALLEN and RESONANCE. Among them, DLP is the best if you have an average academic record. If your academic record is above average and your performance is decent in tests or you have cracked the NTSE level exam then you should go for FIIT-JEE Bhubaneswar. If your academic record is not good and you have not taken any coaching before but you still want to opt for FIIT-JEE then make sure to complete NCERT chapters before it is started in a class. As in FIIT-JEE, they focus on quality problems instead of giving much time to basis. Besides these prestigious institutes, there are also some of the good institutes like Naidu classes, Vidwan classes, and Mayadhar classes in Bhubaneswar. Keep all this in mind and choose wisely according to your convenience.
Both GATE and IIT JEE are difficult. The selection rate is comparably less for IIT JEE, as millions of students take the examination each year.
In GATE, you will appear for your branch of study, so it is easier in that respect. But scoring well is difficult, especially for branches like CSE, EEE, etc.
In terms of syllabus, IIT JEE covers more subjects. Although the number of subjects is less in GATE, you need to have in-depth knowledge to score under 1000.
Overall, GATE has a less competitive environment, but it has its fair share of difficulties.
RGUHS examinations are not too difficult. Also, the difficulty level is different for different courses. RGUHS has many courses and the examination for each course is different. If you put in the required effort from the start of your course, it won’t be difficult to score decent marks in examinations.
AKTU has specific criteria in terms of giving grace marks. It’s as follows:
Apart from one subject, the student must pass all other subjects.
For The subject in which you are failing, you should have obtained a minimum of 21 marks.
The maximum mark allotted in a year including both semesters is 10.
A total of 40 marks will be awarded for grace during your B.Tech.
Remember that if you have back in 4th year, you can use 10 marks to pass.
The minimum educational qualification for IES is an engineering degree and an engineering graduate from any branch can apply and qualify IES.
However, the syllabus of IES does not have computer science in the list of subjects.
Hence, a computer engineer can apply but has to choose a branch paper from the following.
Thus, selecting from the above-mentioned subject can be tricky for a computer engineer. Before applying, you should study the syllabus properly and then choose the subject according to your interests and knowledge. Electrical Engineering can be an easy branch paper. One of my seniors was from Mineral Engineering and wrote his IES branch paper on Electrical and got selected.
You can appear in the examination, provided you have secured at least 50% in your engineering degree. Choose your branch paper carefully.
