What is the admission process in Delhi university (B.Sc)?

Some of my friends studied at Delhi University. According to them, the admission criteria for an undergraduate course at Delhi University is stated below.

• The minimum qualification for applying is 12th pass/appearing with 75% aggregate of best for including 85% in English for general category. 
• A general candidate should also have a minimum of 60% in the four subjects including mathematics, 54% for OBC, and passing marks are required for SC/ST.
• Initially, you will be required to fill an online application for Delhi University and select all the courses that you wish to get admitted to. 
• There is no offline procedure for the same. After filling the form, you will have to wait for the cut-off list.

The cut-off list, when released, will be available on the DU’s websites and the associated colleges’ websites. You can look for your course and check your college’s cut-off and if you wish to take admission in it, you have to follow another procedure.

• You will have to log in to your admission portal and select the college where you wish to take admission. 
• Get the registration form printed and visit the college to get your documents verified. 
• The college will then approve your admission on DU’s portal after verifying the documents. 
• You will then have to log in to the admission portal and make the online payment of fees.
