If No Campus Placement is offered discuss about employability or plans after completing the course Please consider including: From which semester students become eligible for campus placements Name of the Companies visited & no of offers made Give details of highest and average package as per company and profiles offered Percentage of students getting placements Your plans after getting the degree
There is as such very very less placements provided by college
I don't know
As I am 2nd year student, I don't know about placement But I have friends which told me - placement starts around March - highest ctc was 21.5 lakh, average was 4.8lpa, and lowest was not disclosed -for our course, delloite, EY, deshaw and many more were preferable This scenario was of 2022 to 23 placement year
It starts in February. Takes around 4-5 days. It has around 80+ placement in last session. Accenture, Planetspark are most bulk that hire students. Recently the highest is 23.03 lakh And the average is 6 lakh
As am from second year I don't know much about placements. about the placement committee they are not that active that you can rely on them for placements. mostly students build profiles on linkedin and stay updated with the recruitments going on. Also sessions and seminars are conducted for profile building that are good. As of 2023, highest package was of around 37 lacs and an average package of around 6 to 7 lacs. the specialisations offered with this course are HR, FINANCE AND MARKETING.
Final placements start around January or Feb, while in our last semester. The process is long and goes on till May. In the recent round more than 600 offers were made from companies. Not everyone gets placed around 40% students sit for placements and 70% of them gets placed. The college doesn't do anything extra to get them placed as max no. Of students go for MBA by giving cat exam Average ctc - 4.8 Lpa Highest ctc - 21.5 LPA Most preferred companies are Deloitte, EY, Bajaj Capital as they give good salary The placement comitee helps by telling them about other jobs. Overall students with better grades are given good offers
place ment starts during final year of college and around 80% of student who join placement cell do get placed in companies i have not joined placement cell but my friend who have good cgpa and participated in college societies do get easy 5-6 lpa name of companies can be seen in our college website and you can get all info there and yes placement process is fully transparent from interview to offer letter all are fair procedure
No we don't 100% placement. Only 25% are placed out of total sitted candidates. *Out of 1029 students, 207 got placed in whole college *Median Salary of placed graduates is 4,50,000 per annum *TCS and Infosys are highest hiring companies * In other courses like bcom, economic placement is better than our course.
It starts in February it overs in 2-3 days Last time many students placed. The college do nothing for the remaining student and they have to manage by themselves . Average package is 6 lakh per annum Highest 21 lakh per annum Deloitte, Accenture , KPMG and kraftshala etc. Deloitte hired many of the students last year. Don't know about this very much.

If you are quite particularly worried about placements, Economics Honors and B.Com Honors have the best placement records at DU. The best companies come to St. Stephen's, SRCC, and LSR and also have an excellent placement record of over 20 lakh in undergraduates. Many startups with 3-4 LPA packages arrive to recruit students from these commerce colleges. The top 10 colleges of DU offer preeminent packages, annually.
Placement is an important consideration when selecting a college for admission. As a result, in order to assist students in selecting the best college for admission, there is a compiled list of top Delhi University colleges based on placement and graduation outcome matrices.
On the basis of placement matrices, the top five colleges in India in 2022 are as follows:
Lady Shri Ram Women's College (Graduation Outcome Score- 93.03)
Miranda House (Graduation Outcome Score - 89.15)
Hindu College (Graduation Outcome Score- 88.52)
Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College (Graduation Outcome Score - 83.81)
Kirori Mal College (Graduation Outcome Score: 77.03)
When a 12th-grade student enrols in a prestigious Delhi university, he or she has many hopes for placement and compensation.
However, only 1% of students are placed in the top colleges. B.Sc. is solely academic in nature. You should never have unrealistic expectations of receiving gleaming packages after completing your B.Sc. To get a job in this field, you will need to further your education.
The main advantage of studying at DU is the exposure you will receive. It will aid in your personal development.
The placements at Delhi University have a dark side that nobody tells you about. This is because you can experience it only if you yourself are in one of the mediocre colleges of DU.
For the best colleges in North and South Campus or Off Campus (SRCC, KMC, Miranda, Hindu, Venky, SBSC, Gargi, LSR, SSCBS, KVM), placements are not a big deal. This is because they will get you into big MNCs with high packages. Your performance in the interview is also significant.
But here is the dark side. If your college is mediocre and not among the top colleges of DU you will get placements in MNCs but for trivial positions like Customer Service Executives, Process Associates, or Airlines with Cabin Crew. The packages here are as low as 1.5-3.5 LPA.
So it all really depends on which college you are in.
