Allahabad University admissions are based on entrance exams either conducted by the university or other state/national authorities. The university accepts various entrance exams for admission to its undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs like CUET, UGAT, PGAT, CRET, GATE, and UGC-NET. To qualify for Allahabad University admissions, candidates must have a valid score in the entrance exam and have the minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination.
Depending on the course specialization chosen by the candidate, he/she will be required to choose the respective subject combination for his/her entrance exam. The question paper pattern for these exams varies based on the subject and level of the course. Once the results for these exams are declared, the university will release the cutoff list. Candidates who have a score that is equal to or higher than the cutoff will be called for the counseling session by the university.
