Why is LPU so famous?

When I completed my graduation, I was unsure of which college to opt for my MBA. My friend was pursuing his engineering from LPU at the time, and he told me some of the things about the university that attracted me towards LPU.

Here are some good things about LPU which have contributed to its fame-

1. Diversity- The campus is home to students from all over India, and more than 70 other countries. The diverse student crowd provided me with a lot of cultural exposure. I came to understand and respect various cultures and their associated practices. This in turn has made me more comfortable and open to working in any part of the world.

2. Infrastructure- LPU is a private university, and it spends a good amount of money in maintaining its infrastructure. The campus has every facility within itself including a Hospital, Shopping Mall, Sports Complex, Gym, etc. It is a mini city in itself.

3. Academics-

The University follows an up-to-date curriculum, which is in line with the modern industry standards. For MBA, it has tie-ups with industry leaders like KPMG, IBM, NSE, and others.

4. Famous Personality Visits to the campus-

Many renowned personalities from various fields have visited the LPU campus in the past. Some of them are- The Hon’ble Prime Minister of India- Shri Narendra Modi, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Ayushmann Khurrana among others. 

5. Hosting important events like ISC (Indian Science Congress)-

The huge campus and top infrastructure of LPU allows it to host important seminars and conferences. The university hosted the 106th Indian Science Congress in 2019, which was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi.

These are some things about LPU which make it shine and stand out from among other universities.
