The Certificate Programme in “Adolescent Health and Counseling” is a 6 month course at IGNOU. It consists of 14 credits (Theory- 12 credits, Practicals- 2 credits). The candidates can complete this course in 2 years as well.

The eligibility requirement for admission to this course is that candidates must have taught in primary, middle, secondary or higher secondary school

OR

They must have obtained a bachelor's in any discipline.

This program aims to train a teacher or parent to help adolescents in developing a healthy lifestyle. There is no minimum age requirement for this program at IGNOU. Candidates of any age can apply for this course.

The fee structure of this course is INR 2000, and the registration fee for this course is Rs. 300/-
