NIRF has ranked IIT Hyderabad at 8 for Engineering in 2020. It is also ranked 15th overall by QS 2020. At the postgraduate level, IIT Hyderabad offers a number of programs. M.Tech in Biomedical engineering is a two-year full-time program. Biomedical engineering combines biology and engineering. The application of engineering is used in the medical field.

Admission:

  • The applicant must complete a 4 years BTech degree in an engineering discipline or an MSc/MS/MCA in CS/IT/Maths.

  • The applicant must possess an excellent academic record. The candidates who have any professional qualifications recognized by AICTE are also eligible to apply.

  • The applicants also need a valid score in the graduate aptitude test in engineering (GATE).
