The hostel room is decent, they provide double sharing rooms for 1st-year students, they provide 2cots, 2 cupboards, 2 desks, and 2 chairs, and each room is provided with 2 LAN ports for internet connectivity.
The campus life is so good here. They conduct many programs at IIT Hyderabad. We had Milan which lasted up to 10 days approximately. We had sports, cultural, and sci-tech coding competitions among hostels. We also had prom night and DJ night along with a show with the music band Aikyam. We also had the garba and bathukamma program before Dussehra. You can use books in the library whenever you want. The classrooms are so comfortable and look so good. We have central air conditioners too. We have a sports complex and grounds too. It is a very good opportunity for students who are interested in sports to practice here and become successful. We also have a shuffle crew which is a group of dancers which is extraordinary. We also have a dance room for shuffle. We have badminton courts, tennis courts, table tennis courts, football ground, basketball ground, cricket ground, gym etc .
Rooms are equipped with fans, lights, and a few switches with plugs. Rooms are thermally insulated with thermal insulation, which keeps room temperature constant. The food in the mess is quite good. Registration is done automatically because you are expected to live in hostels.
The hostel office provides us with a chair, desk and a bed. The quality of the mess is not that good and Registration process can be quite tedious for hostel. It won't be necessary to rent a room or pg
The hostels are quite good-looking and modern. There are a lot of facilities in hostels. But many hostels are still under construction. But in the hostels, lots of facilities are not quite good and cleanliness is not maintained
I got a bed, table and a chair in my room and the mess food contains a variety of items which change every day. The hostel rate can feel a bit overpriced and it's compulsory for every student to be in the Hostel in IITH.
Life on campus is amazing it's like I am in the youtube video of Dax in my life at iith. The annual fest is elan and nvision. It is conducted in December. The library is well maintained and we can avail books. A new library is being constructed. Classrooms are well maintained and have proper structure. Sports facilities are good I have been into sports here and we have good coach support also. There are many clubs. I am in the sunshine club.
The two major fest which happen here are MILAN(Inter hostel compitision) and ELAN&EVISION. milan in september and elan&evision in december. we have a small library for now but we have very good collection of books in a few months the new library building is going to open, this building is like a world-class library. classrooms are very neat clean spacious, there is air conditioning, projectors, boards, and speakers. the best thing about iith is its classrooms and its architecture of buildings inspired by Japan. for every festival we have events going on so always there are cultural rangoli competitions being held. talking about sports we have one hockey, football, cricket, athletics ground a tennis court 4 basketball courts 6 badminton courts there are too many to mention. recently only the new sports complex was inaugurated. there are many clubs here for robotics , web development(lambda) , competitive coding(inferno) , AI ML (Epouch) , cybersecurity(Kludge) and so on.
Rooms are equipped with 1 fan, 1 chair, 1 cot, and a few switches(with plugs). Annual hostel fees with mess charges are around 50k per semester. There are 2 messes inside the campus. The menu is pretty random every day but can be tracked through the dashboard app.
The hostel facility in the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad is not upto the mark in some aspects. Though the hostels look good and modern to see and the rooms are spacious, the maintenance is upto the mark. Mess food is of good quality.
