    Advantages

    The advantages of studying in SRM Sikkim are as follows.

    • It has a 100% placement record overall.
    • They provides 3 types of scholarships -
      • Founders Scholarship - Top 2 school toppers will receive 100% and 50% tuition fee waiver for this scholarship.
      • Sikkim Native Scholarship - Students selected by the Government of Sikkim are eligible for 25% of waiver in tuition fees. Students bearing COI and admitting directly to the University are eligible for 10% of waiver in the tuition fees.
      • Employee Ward Scholarship - The ward of the employee taking admission is eligible for 50% of waiver in tuition fees.
      • 133 offers were made by 51 companies across all the sectors like Finance, IT, General Management, Operations, HR, Sales and Marketing, Hotels and Tours and Travels.
     

    Disadvantages 

    The disadvantages of studying in SRM Sikkim are as follows.

    • BTech is a 4 year course, the annual fee is 2,25,000. This might be higher in comparison to public universities.
    • The fees for a 2 year MBA course is 1,30,000.
    • Admission for BTech is through SRMJEEE entrance exam and JEE Main score is not accepted.
    • The infrastructure is not up-to-the-mark. They do not have open spaces or sports grounds, etc.
     

    SRM University provides exposure to communicate with a diverse amount of people. However, for some students, the quality of education was not up to mark. The experience of any university/institution depends on the individual completely.
