Questions Asked On Presidency University Bangalore, Bangalore
Which is better for B.Tech. CSE: Presidency University, Bangalore or CMR University, Bangalore or Christ University Faculty of Engineering, Bangalore?
One of my friends studying at CMR said it is better to opt for CMR University or Christ University, rather than Presidency University. Mainly due to the excessive strict rules of the latter. Being a student of the Presidency, let me share why it is not apt for you.
- At the Presidency, there are a lot of rules that students need to strictly follow.
- There are no holidays for preparation before exams. The institute believes in classroom study only.
- Out of an entire batch of over 5000 students, hardly 50-60 students get the chance to participate in sports events.
- Fee submission is hectic. Only 2 or 3 counters are available.
- Attendance should also be maintained.
- They have a strong and cooperative faculty.

Therefore, for normal category students, CMR University and Christ University are better choices. The Presidency has a decent educational background.
Are Presidency Universities in Bangalore and Kolkata the same?
No, Presidency University Bangalore is entirely different from Presidency University Kolkata. The key points of difference between the two institutes are stated below in the following points.
- The Presidency University at Bangalore is a private university, which was newly established in 2013. But, Presidency University, Kolkata is a 200-year old premier institute.
- Presidency College became a university in 2010, even before Presidency Bangalore was established. It is now fully funded by the government of West Bengal.

Which is the better college, REVA University or Presidency University?
Both, REVA University and Presidency University are new. However, on an overall scale, the former is better.
