If you are considering taking a job offer from KPMG, it would be wise to do so right away. KPMG is a reputable company and gaining experience there can be beneficial for your future career goals. One option after working with KPMG for 2-3 years would be to pursue an MBA. However, it's important to consider if you have the time and patience to prepare for entrance exams for top-tier B-Schools in India, such as the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) or XLRI. If you feel confident in your ability to do so, it may be more beneficial to gain more work experience before going for an MBA.

On the other hand, if you think that you would not be able to focus on preparing for entrance exams while working, an MBA from Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar (XIMB) may be a more suitable option. Ultimately, it's important to consider your own goals and priorities when making a decision.

As per my friend's experience, taking up the offer from KPMG would be a better option as it will give you complete knowledge regarding the corporate world. It can broaden your horizons in a particular field that can be added to your CV for the future.

Basically, an MBA is meant for students who have little knowledge of the corporate world and you will be able to recognize the various strategies by working in Strategy Consulting Division. It will make you realize the potential in you so that you can pursue that in the future. What if you do not develop an interest in Strategy Consulting or you a salesperson and gradually your huge amount of money will go in vain.

We can say that to get exposure to the field firstly pursue the job for some time, identify your interest and then opt for the particular field in MBA for your future.
