Yes, they do conduct tests but it all depends upon which program you are choosing.

For getting admission for B.Tetch and Architecture course, the college accepts scores of JEE mains.
For MTech admission, they accept scores of GATE and for MS they accept scores of IIT JAM.
The college conducts admission tests for only M.sc and Ph.D. programs.
Among the M.Sc programs, they conduct tests for Math, Physics, Geology, and chemistry.

The JEE mains cut off at IIEST Shibpur for the year 2020 is as follows.
