Which is better, IIEST Shibpur for civil engineering or IIIT Raipur for CSE?

There is no comparison between IIIT Raipur and IIEST Shibpur for Engineering. IIEST Shibpur is a much older and well established college than IIIT Raipur. Being a student of IIEST Shibpur myself, I can confidently say that the college is much superior when it comes to engineering.

• IIEST offers decent placements due to its strong alumni network and reputation among people.
• According to recent placement statistics, many top recruiters visited during the placement drive including Microsoft, Vedanta, Wipro, Cognizant, Godrej, HSBC Technologies, and many others giving the highest package of INR 39 LPA.
• Lastly, we can say that though IIIT Raipur may be known for its brand it does not stand on the same ranking as the old engineering departments of IIEST.

They produce many well-qualified students in different fields and provide them with many facilities along with placements and even good opportunities for higher studies and research.
