What is my probability to get into IIM Bangalore? I have 97 percentile, OBC, work ex of 25 months.

Your probability to get into IIM Bangalore depends on a lot more than just your CAT percentile and work experience. IIM Bangalore gives a lot of emphasis on past academic records which you haven’t mentioned.

IIM Bangalore selection procedure comprises 2 phases. The first phase includes shortlisting the candidates for the personal interviews which is done on the basis of CAT score.The sectional CAT cut-off for OBC Category is mentioned in the table below:

The candidates shortlisted for the PI process will additionally be required to take a Writing Ability Test (WAT) on a topic provided by IIMB. The shortlisting for PI is done on the basis of additional parameters

For selection, IIM Bangalore considers CAT score as well as academic performance. To get an interview call, you need to have above 80% in 10th, 12th, and graduation.

IIM Bangalore considers a decent past academic record and some extra-curricular for admission. As you have not mentioned your 10th, 12th, and graduation scores, it would be hard to tell whether you have a chance to get in or not. But to get an interview call from the institute, you should have at least 80% overall to be on the safer side.

The CAT percentile cut-off for IIMB is below.

After getting a call, converting the interview will depend on you. IIM Bangalore has WAT and interviews for the final selection. To ace the interview, prepare well and practice.

The top three IIMs of India give calls to three times the number of vacant seats. So, there is a high probability of selection.
