Here are few things that should not be done at IIM Bangalore:
Being unproductive - Make good use of your time. Determine your priorities and what you want to accomplish. At IIM Bangalore, a lot happens, and you can get lost trying to do everything. To avoid this, consider what you want to achieve at the end of the two years and the type of career you want to pursue. And direct your activities, studies, and research in that direction. Talk to professors, alums, and seniors to learn about the requirements for the goals you've set for yourself, but keep in mind that these conversations are only to gather information and some advice. At the end of the day, you make the decision, not the alums, seniors, or professors. However, both the gathering of information and the making of decisions are equally important.
Procrastination - Begin focusing on spending time running, playing sports, or going to the gym, rather than just sitting idly. It is necessary to be able to handle stress and break the monotony of academics and other activities.
Plagiarism - No matter how difficult it is to come up with a solution for your assignment or project, never take the easy way out. Push yourself because that is the only way to learn and retain what you have learned. The longer you stick with the difficult path, the easier it will eventually become.

Some of my close friends are alumni of IIM Bangalore. Here are some of the tips that they shared with me.
Plagiarism: Do not blindly copy anything however hard a task to be. Be smart, make changes and adjustments, understand, and reiterate. I cannot guarantee that you will fetch good grades, but submitting anything that has plagiarized content in it will definitely cost you your grades.
Do not get cheeky with any professor or TA. This might land you up in unnecessary trouble as you never know how one may react. It is not worth your time and effort. It is better to not even complain about anyone in WhatsApp chats and groups.
Lastly, refrain from taking a room near L Square. You will be disturbed by the unnecessary loud music that they play till 4 am.
