Before we dwell on the credibility and worth of the program, it’s necessary to know the objectives of the same. DEM is designed to help management students develop knowledge, skill, and confidence to conceive, lead and execute innovative and competitive initiatives involving technologies and data.

Suitability: This program is best suitable for those students who wish to pursue careers in management in businesses that employ powers of digital technologies for business development and sustenance

Faculty: Highly learned professors, researchers, and practitioners teach various concepts of management in the digital context. Industry professionals and faculty are also involved in the development and delivery of the pedagogy.

Research: Dynamic research work is a part of this program. However, the one-year program is packed with learning and co-curricular activities that will spare very little time for intense research that the faculty will be working on.

Roles offered: Students graduating from the DEM program have been recruited for various roles like Analytics, Consulting, and Information Technology.

Many of us also had a similar question when we were applying to college. A friend of mine who enrolled is also experienced in the field of IT and wanted to continue in the same after his MBA.

There is a lot of demand for professionals from a business background. If you think that the DEM course curriculum suits your needs and matches where you would like to work in the future, you should go for it.

Think of this course as a long term investment in yourself and you will be able to benefit from it in 2 to 3 years.
You will realize after the first term itself if the course is good or not.
In term 2, you will get to learn more about technology and do projects based in the digital industry like Analytics (descriptive and predictive).
The faculty are all well qualified with ties in the industry to companies like flipkart, Deloitte, Accenture, etc.
As far as placements are concerned, the recent batch had recruitments in companies like Deloitte, Cognizant, CGI Inc, etc.
